Fathom Nickel Inc. has discovered new zones of nickel-copper-cobalt mineralization at the Gochager Lake project in Saskatchewan, highlighted by drillhole GL26029 intersecting 21.44 metres of mineralized core with intervals returning greater than 1% nickel.

The Phase-2 program comprised eight drillholes totaling 3,094 metres, designed to follow up on off-hole conductors identified by borehole electromagnetic surveys. Drillhole GL26029 targeted the southwest area and intersected semi-massive to massive pyrrhotite-pentlandite-chalcopyrite veins and breccias approximately 75 metres outside the maiden mineral resource estimate footprint.

Further north, drillholes GL26028 and GL26030 intersected a new mineralized zone approximately 155 metres northeast of the resource estimate area. Hole GL26030 returned assay results up to 0.70% nickel and 0.65% copper across a 54.79-metre mineralized core interval, alongside a platinum assay of 1.99 g/t Pt within a 2.33-metre interval.

Fathom Nickel owns a 100% interest in the 33,000-hectare Gochager Lake project. The company plans further interpretation of the orientation of metasedimentary-hosted mineralization identified in drillhole GL26025 ahead of additional drilling.
