Fathom Nickel Replaces Historical Status with Maiden 3.96M-Tonne Resource at Gochager Lake
Fathom Nickel Inc. has released its maiden mineral resource estimate for the Gochager Lake nickel-copper-cobalt deposit in northern Saskatchewan, replacing historical estimates with a defined inventory totaling 3,962,617 tonnes across indicated and inferred categories.
The initial resource comprises an indicated resource of 858,701 tonnes grading 0.41% nickel, 0.12% copper, and 0.03% cobalt (0.57% nickel equivalent), containing 7.7 million pounds of nickel, 2.2 million pounds of copper, and 0.6 million pounds of cobalt. Inferred resources add 3,103,916 tonnes grading 0.32% nickel, 0.09% copper, and 0.03% cobalt (0.45% nickel equivalent), containing 22.1 million pounds of nickel, 6.3 million pounds of copper, and 1.8 million pounds of cobalt. The estimate has an effective date of June 9, 2026.
Open pit resources are optimized within a Lersch-Grossmann shell at a net smelter return cut-off of US$20.48 per tonne, with an average strip ratio of 4.22 to 1, while out-of-pit resources are reported below the pit shell at an NSR cut-off of US$56.50 per tonne. The estimate is supported by 17 diamond drill holes totaling 5,990.8 metres completed across 2018, 2023, and 2024. Metal recoveries are assumed at 80% for nickel, 92% for copper, and 70% for cobalt, based on metal prices of US$8.50 per pound for nickel, US$5.50 per pound for copper, and US$22.00 per pound for cobalt.

Fathom secured a 100% interest in the Gochager Lake property in October 2025 following the completion of final cash payments and share issuances under its earn-in agreement, positioning the company to advance the deposit along an 8-kilometre-long mineralized corridor.
“Fathom Nickel is pleased to announce its maiden MRE for the Gochager Lake Ni-Cu-Co Deposit, representing an important milestone in demonstrating the scale, quality and growth potential of this emerging nickel-copper-cobalt system. The MRE provides a strong foundation for advancing the Project and supports our view that Gochager Lake is part of a much larger, dynamic magmatic system within a prospective mineralized corridor that has been traced for more than eight kilometres.”
