Felix Gold Limited has been selected by the United States Department of Energy for the negotiation of a financial award of up to US$18 million to advance the Treasure Creek Antimony Pilot Processing Facility in Alaska.

The selection forms part of a broader US$162 million national program aimed at scaling technologies across critical minerals supply chains. Felix Gold was chosen alongside eight other projects nationwide.

To support downstream development, Felix Gold established Frontier Antimony Refinery Corp. as a wholly owned Delaware subsidiary to serve as a dedicated platform for U.S. antimony refining and metal production. The funding advances the company's objective to build a domestic ore-to-metal supply chain, backed by full 100% ownership of two upland mining leases and 25 mining claims comprising part of the Treasure Creek project, secured through the exercise of its acquisition option.

“The Department of Energy has selected Felix Gold because of what we are building: U.S. ore to U.S. metal.”

— Joe Webb, Executive Director

“Antimony is designated a critical mineral by the USA and is used in a range of defence and industrial applications. The U.S. is almost entirely dependent on imports for its antimony supply, making the development of domestic production and processing capacity a national priority.”

— Joe Webb, Executive Director

Felix Gold is advancing multi-year mining permits and targets the commencement of mining operations at Treasure Creek in June 2027. Downstream pilot plant engineering, testwork and site selection are progressing toward the establishment of a dedicated U.S. processing facility by the end of 2027.
