Fenix Delivers Maiden Beebyn Hub Ore Reserve of 27 Million Tonnes

Fenix Resources Ltd has declared a maiden total Ore Reserve of 26.9 million tonnes at 60.0% Fe for the Beebyn Hub within its Weld Range Iron Ore Project in Western Australia, shifting the asset base from a standalone development into an integrated production centre.
The maiden Beebyn Hub Ore Reserve comprises a maiden Stage 1 Ore Reserve of 13.8 million tonnes at 58.9% Fe for the Beebyn-W10 mine, alongside an updated Ore Reserve of 13.1 million tonnes at 61.2% Fe for the existing Beebyn-W11 operation.
The updated Beebyn-W11 reserve compares with the previously reported figure of 10.0 million tonnes at 62.2% Fe, with the new estimate reflecting mine depletion up to 1 July 2026. Alongside the reserve update, Fenix reported a maiden Mineral Resource Estimate for Beebyn-W10 totalling 47.7 million tonnes at 59.0% Fe inclusive of reserves. Fenix holds the exclusive right to mine Beebyn-W10 through a Right to Mine agreement with Sinosteel Midwest Corporation, a subsidiary of China Baowu Steel Group Corporation.
The combined Beebyn Hub underpins Fenix’s 3-Year Production Plan, which targets sustainable output of up to 6 million tonnes per annum from the hub by fiscal 2028. Mining approvals for Beebyn-W10 Stage 1 were secured in July 2026, clearing the way for operational milestones.
“The maiden Ore Reserve for the Beebyn Hub provides more than 5 years of mine life at our current production rate. Completion of the Weld Range Definitive Feasibility Study is expected to further materially boost Ore Reserves consistent with the Scoping Study published in December 2025 outlining a 10Mtpa production profile out to 2042.”
— John Welborn, Executive Chairman
Ore production from the Beebyn-W10 mine is on track to commence during the September 2026 quarter, with the first ore shipment expected during the December 2026 quarter.
