FIN Resources Limited has commenced a diamond drilling program at its 100% owned Cabin Lake Gold Project in Canada's Northwest Territories, with 15 planned holes targeting 14 priority exploration areas.

The summer campaign follows the finalisation of the Cabin Lake acquisition in February 2026, secured after the Wek'èezhìı Land and Water Board approved the assignment of the project's Land Use Permit. To fund field work, FIN Resources completed a share placement in August 2026, issuing 425 million shares at A$0.004 each to raise A$1.7 million.

The 15 planned drillholes will test ten chargeability anomalies identified from induced polarisation surveys and four targets generated from magnetic interpretation. These geophysical anomalies are associated with the sulphide-bearing Bugow Iron Formation, which hosts the project's known gold mineralisation. Previous drilling at Cabin Lake returned shallow high-grade intersections, including 26.1 metres at 12.0 g/t gold from 14.9 metres.

The company is logging, photographing, and sampling drill core progressively for laboratory analysis, with further operational updates expected as assay results become available. In the surrounding district, activity has advanced on regional infrastructure, including conditional approval for up to $50 million from the First and Last Mile Fund announced in June 2026 for the Tłı̨chǫ Government and Fortune Minerals Limited joint venture access road.
