FinEx Metals Ltd. has completed its Phase I diamond drilling and top-of-bedrock and bottom-of-till sampling campaign at the 100%-owned, royalty-free Kero gold project in northern Finland.

The program delivered 2,001 metres of diamond core drilling across ten holes at Target A and Target C. The footage surpasses historical drilling by the Geological Survey of Finland, which averaged 82 metres in depth, with current Phase I holes at Target Area A ranging from 120 to 251 metres. Additionally, FinEx collected 694 bedrock and till samples across three priority targets in the northern license area.

“We are pleased to successfully complete our Phase I program at Kero, highlighted by 2,001 metres of diamond drilling and 694 bedrock and till samples collected. This work strengthens our footprint in one of Europe's most exciting gold districts and positions us well for future programs. I want to thank our Finnish field team and our service providers for the outstanding work carried out on this summer's drilling program. The program was completed safely, on schedule, and within budget, reflecting the professionalism and technical expertise of everyone involved.”

— Tero Kosonen, Chairman and CEO of FinEx

Drill core samples are currently being logged and are destined for ALS Laboratories for analysis, alongside the 694 bedrock and till samples collected during the field campaign.
