FireFox Gold Corp. has intersected high-grade gold mineralization in six additional drill holes completed at the Mustajärvi gold project in Lapland, Finland, highlighted by an interval of 14.1 metres averaging 4.32 g/t gold from a depth of 28.0 metres in hole 26MJ016.

The latest assays stem from infill and step-out drilling focused on the southwest side of the project’s East Zone. Hole 26MJ016 included a higher-grade core of 3.1 metres averaging 8.63 g/t gold from 36.9 metres depth, hosted in strongly albite-altered metasedimentary rocks beneath a sheared contact with ultramafic volcanic units.

Additional results from the program include hole 26MJ012, which encountered multiple mineralized intervals including 3.3 metres averaging 7.66 g/t gold from 80.7 metres depth—complete with an 0.8-metre section grading 17.65 g/t gold—alongside a deeper intercept yielding 2.0 metres averaging 14.72 g/t gold from 102.0 metres. Furthermore, hole 26MJ017 returned an isolated high-grade intercept of 1.0 metre at 17.65 g/t gold from a depth of 173.4 metres. All reported intervals are expressed as core widths, and true widths have not yet been estimated.

The ongoing exploration forms part of the company's broader operational strategy to advance the property toward delivering a maiden mineral resource estimate. To support these operational objectives, FireFox completed a private placement in June 2026 that raised gross proceeds of $6,725,400, with funds allocated to finance ongoing mineral exploration at both Mustajärvi and the Sarvi project.

“We are very happy with these strong results from our infill and step-out program along the southwest side of the East Zone. We can see continuity of high-grade zones in the new cross sections from our modeling work, and we have many holes still to be reported from the mineral resource drilling program. In addition, we have started initial drill-testing of new targets outside of the expected resource area, and we are looking forward to reporting the first of those holes in the coming weeks. These will provide the first glimpses of our follow-up expansion targets for the post-resource programs next year.”

The technical team is currently preparing to release the first assay results from initial drill-testing of new targets situated outside the expected resource area at Mustajärvi.
