FireFox Intersects High-Grade Gold at Mustajärvi Project
FireFox Gold has returned high-grade assay results from six drill holes at its Mustajärvi gold project in Finland, extending the footprints of the Northeast and East zones.
The results include 2.9 metres at 11.55 g/t gold from 242.8 metres depth in the East Zone, which featured a 2.0-metre interval grading 16.48 g/t gold. In the Northeast Zone, drilling identified 5.9 metres at 5.09 g/t gold from 133.5 metres, including a 1.0-metre section at 23.9 g/t gold.
Exploration also targeted the area between these two lodes, known as the Gap Zone. Despite limited access due to permit constraints, all three holes drilled into this area encountered gold mineralization, headlined by a 1.5-metre interval grading 16.11 g/t gold at 207.2 metres depth.
The company is currently operating two drill rigs at the site. Assays from an additional 19 drill holes are pending.
