FirstAu Intersects High-Grade Gold up to 4.93 g/t at Kalgoorlie Fieldwork
First Au Limited has returned high-grade gold assays of up to 4.93 g/t Au from initial mapping and surface sampling across two of its newly acquired Kalgoorlie tenements in Western Australia.
The fieldwork, conducted by Golden Strike Geological Services on tenements P 24/5844 and P 24/2845, identified a previously unreported area of historic workings and quartz mineralisation at the Kims prospect. Rock grab sampling returned grades reaching 4.93 g/t Au and 3.48 g/t Au from iron-sulphide associated quartz samples on tenement P 24/2845.
Mapping across the Kims prospect revealed approximately 30 separate sites of historic workings located within the interaction of a basalt and ultramafic unit in the greater Kalgoorlie Terrane. The target area has seen only limited historical work, comprising a total of four aircore drill holes.
The Kims prospect lies 2.6 kilometres north of the Paddington Gold Mill, which is owned by Zijin Mining Group and has a processing capacity of 3.7 million tonnes per annum. In addition to its expanded tenement package, First Au Limited staked one new mineral tenement near the project on 9 July 2026.

Fieldwork is continuing across First Au Limited's broader Kalgoorlie portfolio. The company is reviewing on-ground data from the Kims prospect alongside desktop work to evaluate the next phase of exploration, with further assay results currently pending from samples collected across the portfolio and emerging drill targets to be prioritized based on fieldwork, geochemical results, and historical data.
