First Mining Hits 5.26 g/t Au Over 19.55 m in Latest Duparquet Drilling
First Mining Gold Corp. has returned high-grade drill intercepts from the Miroir discovery at its Duparquet Gold Project in Quebec's Abitibi region, highlighted by hole DUP26-093 returning 5.26 g/t gold over 19.55 metres from 182.0 metres, including 12.95 metres grading 7.58 g/t gold and a 1.0-metre interval at 21.80 g/t gold.
Drilling at the Miroir target is part of an ongoing 15,000-metre exploration program that commenced in May 2026 and is scheduled for completion in the fourth quarter. The latest assays cover 1,553 metres of drilling across 11 holes at the target, extending the known strike length of the zone to approximately 220 metres while testing down-dip and depth extensions.
Additional results include hole DUP26-096, which intersected 3.43 g/t gold over 28.0 metres from 234.35 metres, including a 7.2-metre section grading 10.36 g/t gold. Hole DUP26-095 returned 3.36 g/t gold over 15.8 metres from 1.2 metres, including 2.0 metres at 15.10 g/t gold, and a deeper interval of 3.54 g/t gold over 4.2 metres from 170.3 metres. Hole DUP26-092 cut 3.33 g/t gold over 5.0 metres from 181.0 metres, confirming mineralization extensions toward the west and at depth. Assay results for the final 12 samples of drill hole DUP26-096 remain pending.

First Mining acquired full ownership of the Duparquet Project in 2022. The company operates as a gold developer advancing two major Canadian assets: the Springpole Gold Project in northwestern Ontario and the Duparquet Project in Quebec.
Alongside the active drill program, First Mining has initiated an update to the Duparquet Project resource model. The revised model will incorporate 48,000 metres of drilling completed across the property since the effective date of the current Mineral Resource Estimate on September 12, 2022.
"We continue to be very active with our exploration program at Duparquet and are excited to announce the initial results from our 2026 program. The continued high-grade results from Miroir are very encouraging and demonstrate the potential of this target to become an important contributor to future resource growth and development planning at our Duparquet Project," stated Dan Wilton, CEO of First Mining. "We are pleased with the progress made through our successive drill programs and the continued expansion of mineralization at Miroir. With additional results still pending, we look forward to further advancing this target and evaluating its potential within the broader Duparquet Project."
