First Mining Gold Corp. has entered into a binding Project Agreement with Slate Falls Nation covering the Springpole Gold Project in northwestern Ontario, establishing a structured framework for collaboration through construction, operations, and closure.

The agreement sets out terms for community participation in environmental management and monitoring, adaptive management implementation, preferential training and employability measures, and the sharing of financial benefits. The arrangement follows a community-based consultation process and builds on federal Environmental Assessment approval received for the project in June 2026.

First Mining is advancing the Springpole development alongside the Duparquet Gold Project in Quebec and a 20% interest in the Pickle Crow Gold Project in Ontario. Previous permitting updates for Springpole centered on initiating environmental assessment processes and securing temporary access roads. The new agreement formalizes long-term cooperation across environmental monitoring, training, and economic benefit sharing.

Under the terms of the accord, First Mining and Slate Falls Nation will proceed with implementing the agreed environmental monitoring, training frameworks, and financial sharing structures as the project moves through its next stages of development.
