First Tellurium Subsidiary Develops Solar Film

First Tellurium Corp. announced that its subsidiary, PyroDelta Energy, is developing a tellurium-based thermoelectric film designed to extend electricity generation from solar panels beyond daylight hours and during low sunlight.

The film applies to the back of conventional photovoltaic panels without altering their design, operating by capturing energy from temperature differentials between the panel and its environment.

The subsidiary also advanced international patent filings for its clean energy and capillary casting technologies in Canada, China, Europe, Japan, South Korea, and the United States on September 8, 2026. In addition, PyroDelta developed a next-generation heavy-lift unmanned aerial vehicle designed to carry a 300-pound payload, with flight tests scheduled for September 2026.

First Tellurium President and CEO Tyrone Docherty noted that the solar initiative runs alongside the subsidiary's primary commercialisation efforts.
