Fitzroy Minerals has intersected the highest copper grade recorded to date at the Buen Retiro project in Chile, returning 8.8 metres at 3.70% copper from a depth of 30 metres in drill hole BRT-DDH095.

The high-grade intercept included a 2.8-metre section grading 11.35% copper from 36 metres, highlighted by a 1-metre interval yielding 21.84% copper from 37 metres downhole.

The latest assay batch covers drill holes BRT-DDH081 to BRT-DDH100. Drill hole BRT-DDH094 returned 105 metres at 0.74% copper from 58 metres, including 12 metres at 3.01% copper, extending known mineralization 100 metres north. Further results include drill hole BRT-DDH099, which intersected 83 metres at 0.46% copper from 69 metres in a newly identified area between Manto Negro and Nativo.

Additionally, reverse circulation hole BRT-RCD020 intersected native copper and chalcocite at a depth of 239 metres, extending the main Tenorita trend by 200 metres to bring the total strike length to 1.9 kilometres.

Fitzroy is advancing the project with an expanded exploration and resource definition program targeting approximately 22,000 metres in 2026 using three diamond rigs and one reverse circulation rig. The company has completed 92 diamond holes totaling 16,376 metres since February 2026.

Two diamond rigs are scheduled to leave the site in September following a data cut-off for a maiden Mineral Resource Estimate. Fitzroy aims to complete the drill-out of the Tenorita area in August to support a heap leach development plan, with production targeted for early 2028.
