Flynn Gold Achieves 94% Gold Extraction in Golden Ridge Metallurgical Tests

Flynn Gold Limited has achieved an average gold extraction of 94% from sighter metallurgical tests on lower-grade core samples from the Trafalgar Prospect at its Golden Ridge Project in northeast Tasmania.

The testwork evaluated 35 low to medium-grade core samples ranging from 0.1g/t to 4.5g/t Au, sourced from broad zones of mineralisation located outside the high-grade vein domains. Those higher-grade domains were previously used to estimate the project's November 2024 Exploration Target of 3.5 to 5.4 million tonnes grading 3.0g/t to 4.0g/t Au for 449,000 to 520,000 ounces of contained gold. The latest cyanide leach tests were undertaken using the LeachWELL method to investigate the leachability of lower-grade material and determine whether it warrants further evaluation for potential bulk-mining scenarios.

The new results align closely with earlier metallurgical testwork at Trafalgar, which delivered a 94.5% average gold extraction on higher-grade samples.

Flynn Gold has commenced a 21-hole, 2,500-metre resource definition diamond drilling program at the Brilliant Prospect within Golden Ridge. The company is now scoping a more comprehensive round of metallurgical testwork to evaluate gold recovery under commercial processing conditions and assess beneficiation options.

Managing Director and CEO Neil Marston noted that the upcoming testwork aims to establish whether simple methods can beneficiate run-of-mine material into a high-grade ore or concentrate suitable for supply to the Henty Gold Mine or other potential buyers.
