Flynn Gold Limited will commence a 21-hole, 2,500-metre resource definition diamond drilling program at the Brilliant Gold Prospect in northeast Tasmania, marking its first drilling there since 2022.

The campaign forms part of an accelerated development pathway for the Golden Ridge Project, where Flynn holds a 100% interest in assets including the Trafalgar and Grenadier prospects.

“With the recently announced Mining Lease application and the non-binding ore purchase agreement with Henty Gold Mine, we now have a clearer pathway to advance the Golden Ridge Project. The approved drilling program set to commence next week at the Brilliant Prospect marks the first concrete step in that process. The program will start with one drill rig, and we are looking to add further rigs in due course to fast-track the drilling at Golden Ridge.”

The program will use in-fill and extensional holes to support future Mineral Resource studies and evaluate mining options.

Preparation follows recent channel sampling confirming a continuous near-surface gold mineralised footprint over 110 metres of strike, remaining open to the northeast. Significant intervals include 33 metres at 0.56 g/t gold from trench BTR02, including 11 metres at 1.04 g/t gold, and 20 metres at 0.60 g/t gold from trench BTR01A. Additional results include 28 metres at 0.34 g/t gold from BTR01B and 32 metres at 0.37 g/t gold from BTR04.

Previous drilling tested near-surface mineralisation over a 200-metre strike length and to depths exceeding 200 metres. The new campaign will systematically define this zone before testing greater depths.

Planning is also underway for resource definition drilling at the Trafalgar prospect, alongside exploration drilling between Brilliant and Trafalgar.
