FMR Resources Delivers 3D Model and First-Pass Drill Plan at La Lorena
FMR Resources Limited has completed preliminary three-dimensional induced polarisation inversion modelling and first-pass drill planning at the La Martuca Prospect within the La Lorena copper-gold project in central Chile.
The preliminary 3D inversion integrates induced polarisation data across five survey lines, labelled L102 to L106. The modelling has refined the geometry of several chargeability features, including one spatially associated with known mineralised structures at the prospect.
Line L102 defined a significant chargeability anomaly directly beneath the interpreted strike extension of the La Martuca mineralised structure, which strengthens eastward at depth toward a larger feature identified on lines L103 and L104.
Previous geophysical updates reported individual two-dimensional induced polarisation chargeability anomalies. The current work advances that dataset to a preliminary 3D inversion model that refines target geometry across the completed survey lines and establishes first-pass drill planning.

First-pass drill planning is now complete, with proposed holes designed to test the continuity of the mineralised structures and multiple modelled chargeability and magnetic features. FMR Resources acquired a 100% interest in the 54-square-kilometre La Lorena Project in May 2026 through conditional binding term sheets over key mining concessions and exploration concession applications. The exploration program is supported by a $5 million equity raising completed in June 2026 to accelerate exploration across the company's Chilean copper portfolio.
The company has awarded a drilling contract to Big Bear Drilling SpA for an initial program planned for a minimum of 2,000 metres over 10 to 12 weeks, with rig mobilisation scheduled within four weeks. Statutory drilling approvals have been submitted, with approval expected in the coming weeks ahead of a planned execution in the fourth quarter of 2026.
Field access and completion of the final survey line, L101, remain restricted by snow cover following recent weather events. FMR Resources has redirected induced polarisation surveying to the Esperanza Prospect to continue advancing the project target pipeline while waiting for conditions at La Martuca to clear for pad preparation and final surveying.
