Forge Resources Corp. has completed the underground ramp to operational depth at its fully permitted La Estrella coal project in Santander, Colombia, marking the transition from ramp construction to direct advancement toward the deposit's coal seams.

With the underground ramp finished, the technical team has engineered a junction to transition seamlessly into the crosscut. The sequence requires installing a perpendicular support arch at the junction axis followed by a steel transition portal to anchor the ramp's arch extensions before driving into the coal-directed heading.

The crosscut will initially advance using a 12.4 m² TH29 support section matching the ramp profile before transitioning to a lighter 9.0 m² profile designed to accelerate advance rates toward the stacked sequence of known coal seams. Prior to completing the underground ramp, Forge Resources finished main portal construction and established Phase 1 mining camps to accommodate the underground workforce.

The company expects to close a private placement raising up to $2,000,000 on or about September 15, 2026, to further advance the project.
