Forrestania Resources Limited has advanced construction and operational readiness at its wholly owned Lake Johnston processing facility in Western Australia, with carbon-in-leach tank installation continuing alongside equipment transit ahead of a scheduled November 2026 commissioning.

The company acquired the Lake Johnston processing facility and infrastructure from Poseidon Nickel under an agreement involving $30 million in cash and $5 million in shares. This acquisition and subsequent refurbishment form a central part of Forrestania Resources’ corporate transition from a mineral explorer into a near-term gold producer.

While previous updates in August 2026 detailed the initial sourcing of core infrastructure for the project, the current September update confirms that the first major process pump, gearbox and motor packages are now in transit to the site. In addition, the manufacturing of process tank agitators has been completed, with those units prepared for shipment to the site by the end of October 2026.

Refurbishment and construction activities are proceeding alongside procurement and logistics initiatives managed in conjunction with primary project partners. To support its wider footprint around the asset, Forrestania staked three new mineral tenements near the project between 3 July 2026 and 14 September 2026.

The site team continues to coordinate ongoing construction work streams as the processing plant moves closer to its operational start date later in the year.
