Forrestania Resources has updated the Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE) for its British Hill deposit to 2.62 million tonnes at 1.50 g/t gold for 126,290 ounces. The new estimate represents a 131% increase over the previous resource figure.

The updated MRE includes 1.88 million tonnes at 1.43 g/t gold in the Indicated category, containing 86,080 ounces. This reflects a 180% increase in Indicated resources compared to the previous reporting, supported by a 19-hole, 4,764-metre drill program that included 693 metres of diamond tails.

“British Hill continues to expand, with a more than doubling of the previous Mineral Resource Estimate and a material increase in the proportion of higher-confidence Indicated Resources. The combination of resource growth, ongoing drilling success and excellent regional infrastructure positions British Hill as a key asset within our broader Forrestania gold strategy.”

— David Geraghty, Chairman

Exploration work at the project is ongoing, with three reverse circulation (RC) rigs currently focused on resource extension drilling along and down-dip. The company has secured approval for a 100-hole drill program under PoW Registration ID 208470.

Beyond the active drilling, Forrestania Resources is planning conceptual mining studies and metallurgical test work to support future development of the asset.
