Forrestania Resources Limited has advanced the refurbishment of its Lake Johnston processing facility in Western Australia by securing major core crushing equipment and progress items ahead of scheduled commissioning in November 2026.

The company acquired the Lake Johnston processing facility and infrastructure from Poseidon Nickel under an agreement involving $30 million in cash and $5 million in shares. The infrastructure acquisition was undertaken to support the company's transition from mineral explorer to near-term gold producer.

While the initial February 2026 crushing circuit refurbishment agreement outlined a base cost of $5 million with Polaris Engineering Services, the current update details the physical sourcing of specific core crushing equipment including an HP500 Cone Crusher, a 5.5T Secondary Cone Crusher, and a Nordberg C125 Jaw Crusher.

Alongside the crushing units, Forrestania has procured crusher wear packages, a carbon-in-leach circuit pump package covering cyclone feed and flotation equipment, and process and storage water tanks. The company is also aiming to finalize key consumable agreements for grinding media, carbon, and reagents including sodium cyanide and caustic soda.

Primary contractors are actively advancing fabrication and site works. Como Engineers is assembling the modularized gold elution plant at its Maddington workshop in Western Australia ahead of transport to site, while Polaris Engineering continues manufacturing and installation work. Additionally, Forrestania has engaged 100% indigenous-owned Marlee Resources Pty Ltd under a framework agreement to supply personnel and heavy-duty equipment for infrastructure and clearing services.
