Founders Metals Hits 27.0 Metres at 20.38 g/t Gold in Antino Step-Out Drilling
Founders Metals Inc. has returned high-grade drill results from the Upper Antino-West Zone at its Antino Gold Project in southeastern Suriname, highlighted by diamond drill hole FR251 intersecting 27.0 metres at 20.38 grams per tonne gold from 100.0 metres down-hole.
The intercept includes a 10.0-metre section grading 43.26 grams per tonne gold from the same starting depth. The West Zone is located 1.2 kilometres west of the established Froyo Zone and was initially identified by discovery hole FR217, positioned approximately 50 metres to the north.

Drill hole FR250, testing further west, intersected 14.0 metres at 1.63 grams per tonne gold from 119.0 metres, including a 2.0-metre interval of 9.86 grams per tonne. Five follow-up diamond drill holes were completed during the current program to test the strike extent and geological character of the mineralization, with drilling remaining ongoing.
Mineralization at the West Zone is associated with quartz-carbonate veining, pervasive sericite alteration, and steeply dipping, northwest-trending structures. Visual core logging indicates up to 10% pyrite and pyrrhotite alongside locally minor occurrences of visible gold within the main mineralized intervals.
“This ground has been part of Founders' land package for less than a year. Going from adding it to the project, to drilling 27.0 metres of 20.38 g/t gold in FR251, one of the best single intercepts in Antino's history, is a clear demonstration of the exploration potential of this district. That result came from a disciplined process: airborne geophysics, auger sampling and systematic follow-up of the resulting anomalies, the same approach we are applying across the rest of Antino.”

Founders Metals controls a 102,360-hectare contiguous land package at the property in the Guiana Shield, backed by a strategic partnership with Gold Fields Limited. The company's previously announced acquisition of Nana Resources N.V.’s remaining 30% interest in Lawa Gold N.V. is proceeding toward completion in the near term.
Regional exploration across the wider Surinamese greenstone belt continues to draw industry attention. Nearby, Miata Metals Corp. reported drill results at the Jons Trend within the Sela Creek project in July 2026, intersecting 30.0 metres at 4.06 grams per tonne gold, reflecting active district-wide exploration by junior gold companies operating in the region.
