Fox Tungsten Secures Wildlife Habitat Area Exemption and Permit Extensions for Access Trail Construction

Fox Tungsten Ltd. has received an exemption from the British Columbia Ministry of Water, Land and Resource Stewardship to construct a new access trail through a Wildlife Habitat Area at its Fox Project in south-central British Columbia.
The company also secured the necessary authorizations from the British Columbia Ministry of Mining and Critical Minerals for the trail build and extended its Multi-Year Area Based permit through March 31, 2031. The new infrastructure aims to provide safer, more reliable transport for personnel, equipment and supplies, improve operational efficiency and lower reliance on helicopter support.
As a condition of the Wildlife Habitat Area exemption, Fox Tungsten has committed to supporting a regional caribou monitoring initiative by contributing approximately C$300,000 over five years.
The operational permitting milestone accompanies a substantial scale-up in field activity. The ongoing 20,000-metre drill program represents a significant expansion compared to the 2025 campaign, which completed 18 diamond drill holes totaling 2,176 metres.
The fully funded exploration campaign is continuing to progress, with initial assay results anticipated in the coming weeks. The work is designed to support resource expansion and feed into an updated mineral resource estimate and a Preliminary Economic Assessment targeted for completion in 2027.
Receiving these authorizations is an important milestone for the Fox Project, said Steve Gray, President and CEO of Fox Tungsten. The new access trail will improve safety and operating efficiency, reduce our reliance on helicopters and provide more reliable access as we continue to advance the project. We appreciate the collaborative approach taken by the Province throughout the review process and remain committed to responsible project development and supporting regional caribou conservation.
