Freegold Hits 102.8 Metres at 3.10 g/t Gold at Golden Summit
Freegold Ventures Limited has intersected 102.8 metres grading 3.10 g/t gold from 460.2 metres downhole, including a higher-grade sub-interval of 55.9 metres at 5.18 g/t gold, in ongoing drilling at the Golden Summit project in Alaska.
The latest assays from the 2026 exploration campaign also include drill hole GS2641 from the eastern margin of the Cleary area, which returned 5.8 metres at 71.46 g/t gold from 154.5 metres alongside a broader zone of 78.0 metres at 1.27 g/t gold. In the Dolphin area, hole GS2632 yielded 283.8 metres at 0.61 g/t gold from 431.6 metres, while hole GS2635 intersected 88.0 metres at 1.06 g/t gold from 246.0 metres and a deeper 268.2-metre interval at 0.72 g/t gold from 480.7 metres.

The ongoing drill program is designed to build the geological, geotechnical, and metallurgical foundation required for a Preliminary Feasibility Study, which Freegold is advancing toward completion in 2027. Technical work on site includes infill drilling to improve resource confidence, metallurgical testing to evaluate processing options targeting recoveries above 90%, and geotechnical logging for pit-design and slope-stability inputs.
To support these operational activities, Freegold has connected the Golden Summit exploration camp to grid power, reducing diesel use and on-site emissions. Shares of Freegold are trading at $1.21, up 5.22% on September 16, 2026.
