Fury Gold Mines Limited (TSX: FURY) has officially launched its 2026 exploration drilling program at the Committee Bay project in Nunavut, Canada. The explorer has mobilized for a 5,000-metre diamond drilling campaign, prioritizing areas intended to refine the understanding of mineral resources. The program focuses on two specific targets: the Three Bluffs deposit and the nearby Antler prospect.

At the Three Bluffs deposit, the company plans to complete 13 holes spanning roughly one kilometre of strike length. The primary objective is to infill and expand the known resource base. Simultaneously, Fury is targeting the Antler prospect, located less than two kilometres from Three Bluffs, where it will conduct step-out and infill drilling. This work aims to test extensions of mineralization previously identified in historical data, including areas that remain untested at depth and along strike.

The company’s operational strategy for this summer emphasizes drilling efficiency. By selecting target zones that minimize helicopter requirements and reduce vulnerability to weather disruptions, the team intends to increase drill density systematically. Beyond the core targets, Fury also plans to conduct prospecting and sampling across other prospective occurrences on the 235,000-hectare property to guide future exploration.

The results gathered from this 2026 drill program are expected to be incorporated into a future updated mineral resource estimate. Beyond its Nunavut operations, the company continues to advance its Eau Claire gold project located in the Eeyou-Istchee/James Bay region of Quebec.
