Galantas Gold Corporation has received approval from Chile’s National Geology and Mining Service, SERNAGEOMIN, for the operational reactivation of the Ripios Dumps leach waste facilities at the Andacollo Gold Project in Chile's Coquimbo Region.

The regulatory clearance extends the validity of the permit originally granted and authorizes continued operation of Ripios Dumps VII, VIII, and IX under previously approved conditions. The approval recognizes that the facilities retain approximately 16.4 million tonnes of authorized capacity remaining, equivalent to 81% of total approved capacity, following operations that were suspended in 2016.

The authorization covers an operating period extending for four years from the commencement of mineral extraction, or until the remaining authorized tonnage is reached. With this decision, Galantas holds all key regulatory approvals required to resume operations under the previously approved mine design, waste-disposal configuration, heap-leach facilities, and safety conditions.

The project's pit-constrained Mineral Resource Estimate comprises an Indicated resource of 102.4 million tonnes at 0.45 grams per tonne gold containing 1.47 million ounces, alongside an Inferred resource of 347.9 million tonnes at 0.41 grams per tonne gold containing 4.54 million ounces.

To support the development timeline, Galantas entered into a binding agreement in July 2026 to acquire a three-stage crushing plant from Mexico for US$4.2 million, featuring a design capacity of approximately 20,000 tonnes per day.

The company is advancing engineering, procurement, infrastructure rehabilitation, and operational readiness at the site. Galantas targets completion of a Preliminary Economic Assessment for the project in the fourth quarter of 2026, supporting a potential operational restart in the first quarter of 2027.
