Galloper Gold Corp. has appointed Peter Lauder as Acting Vice President of Exploration, effective immediately, to oversee field operations and direct technical teams at its Glover Island project in central Newfoundland.

Lauder steps into the role as field preparations reach their final stages ahead of the company's active exploration campaign. Galloper is targeting up to 7,000 metres of drilling during its 2026 program at the property, which comprises 466 mining claims across 13 mineral licences covering a total area of 117.21 square kilometres.

To support the upcoming field work, Galloper completed construction of the 20-person Kettle Pond Camp on Glover Island in July 2026 to serve as the primary base of operations for field exploration. In August 2026, the company entered into a definitive drilling contract with New Valley Drilling to execute the planned drilling program. Lauder will maintain full oversight of field operations while continuing to support Galloper in its ongoing search for a permanent Vice President of Exploration.
