Galloper Gold Corp. has commenced diamond drilling at its flagship Glover Island property in central Newfoundland, marking the start of its 2026 exploration program.

The planned program comprises approximately 7,000 metres of NQ diamond drilling across 30 holes, following a technical review of historical data and geophysical surveys.

The property covers 466 claims across 117.21 square kilometres and includes the LPSE 2026 Gold Resource. To support the field work, Galloper completed construction of the 20-person Kettle Pond Camp in July 2026 as its primary operational base.

Initial drilling targets the Kettle Pond South Zone to test mineralisation continuity at depth, following up on 1990s intercepts including 2.53 g/t over 21.3 metres. The program will then test the KPS-1 hole, where core from previous intercepts was lost and never assayed, before moving to the Lunch Pond C anomaly, which previously reported 54.6 g/t over 1.22 metres.

“This is an extremely important step for Galloper Gold. Over the past several months, along with the rehabilitation of the Kettle Pond camp, our team has brought together the historical drilling, recent surface work, geochemistry, geology and new high-resolution geophysics into a much clearer understanding of the structural framework. This marks the first major drill program in Galloper history, and we look forward to updating the market as the program progresses.”

Following these initial target programs, Galloper plans to resume its primary focus of expanding the Lunch Pond South Extension resource along strike and at depth.
