Gateway Mining Limited has delineated a plus-7-kilometre-long gold anomaly at the historic Ward Prospect within its Yandal Gold Project in Western Australia, following a recent aircore drilling program designed to test structural targets along the Celia Shear corridor.

The reconnaissance aircore drilling intersected multiple zones of significant gold mineralisation, returning standout intercepts that include 4 metres at 4.0 grams per tonne gold from 88 metres in hole WAAC0205, 4 metres at 3.7 grams per tonne gold from 96 metres in hole WAAC0066, and 4 metres at 3.2 grams per tonne gold from 60 metres in hole WAAC0074.

The Ward prospect is located six kilometres along strike from the Cowza gold system within the project area. When combined with Celia South, the mineralised system now extends over a continuous strike length of more than 13 kilometres.

Gateway Mining reported holding $15.7 million in cash and liquid securities at the end of the June 2026 quarter, providing capital to fund its ongoing exploration activities.

The company believes historical drilling at Ward was primarily focused on footwall splay structures rather than the primary mafic-intermediate contact that controls mineralisation at Cowza. Future reverse circulation drilling will target these largely untested contact zones to evaluate the geometry and scale potential of the system.

Meanwhile, Gateway Mining anticipates initial reverse circulation drilling results from the ongoing program at the Cowza prospect imminently, keeping active exploration underway across the Yandal greenstone belt.
