GBM Resources Hits 8m at 1.31g/t Au and Extends Host Horizon 700m at Twin Hills

GBM Resources Limited has confirmed via step-out drilling that the prospective Milled Matrix Breccia host horizon extends at least 700m south of the 309 Mineral Resource at the Twin Hills Gold Project in Queensland, returning 8m at 1.31g/t Au from 126m in hole THDH005 at the Stella prospect.
First deep holes drilled within the Twin Hills tenure outside the resource estimate to downhole depths greater than 200m successfully intersected the host horizon, which is now interpreted as a laterally continuous sedimentary sequence rather than isolated bodies. Chief Executive Officer Daniel Hastings noted that historical drilling across the project was generally too shallow to adequately test the sequence.
“A significant outcome from our Stage 2 drilling program has been the recognition that much of the historical drilling across Twin Hills was simply too shallow to adequately test the prospective BXM host sequence. Our improved geological understanding has fundamentally changed the way we view the project. Rather than isolated mineralised bodies, we now recognise a laterally extensive mineralised host sequence extending well beyond the existing 309 MRE.”
— Daniel Hastings, Chief Executive Officer
Assays for approximately 60% of the metres at Stella remain outstanding. Across the broader project, GBM Resources expects to receive and report pending assay results for approximately 11,500m of completed drilling at the Twin Hills project progressively within the next fortnight after dispatching samples to two laboratories in Queensland following delays from reagent shortages and high sample volumes.
GBM Resources is continuing its Stage 2 drilling program at the 309 and Lone Sister deposits to target growth of the existing Twin Hills Mineral Resource Estimate, while ongoing work tests the revised geological model along the interpreted horizon between 309, Coreshed and Stella.
