Gelum Resources has completed 403 rock geochemical samples across the eastern half of the 2,600-hectare Las Tinajas Gold Project in northern Chile, expanding exploration targets and identifying new mineralization beneath thin post-mineral cover.

At the NE Breccia target, continuous sampling of a road cut 200 metres east of a previously reported interval returned 70 metres grading 0.17 g/t gold, following earlier sampling that yielded 80 metres at 0.22 g/t gold. Backhoe pit sampling up to 300 metres north of drilling and extending 700 metres northwest revealed arsenic and zinc pathfinder concentrations matching those within the main diatreme breccia.

At the SE Anomaly on Cerro Campamento, continuous chip sampling extended anomalous copper values 200 metres further south and molybdenum 90 metres south around a dacite porphyry plug. Meanwhile, the property-wide VIP-MT geophysical survey is now half completed, with electrodes installed on the eastern portion of the property.

“We knew when we acquired Las Tinajas that there was a serious zone of mineralization, given the past drill results in the middle of the property. However, with the results of the rock chip sampling coming in, and our analysis, the broad extent of drill targets at Las Tinajas is becoming ever clearer. Gelum has a land package that is abundantly endowed with gold and copper targets. Historically there has been a high correlation between soil anomalies and subsurface mineralization, and we look forward to testing this correlation with the new identified anomalies at Las Tinajas.”

The exploration update coincides with broader market gains for gold, which traded at US$4,390.50 per ounce, representing a 30-day price increase of 6.58% as of August 2026.
