Gemdale Gold Inc. has intersected 110.00 metres grading 1.18 g/t gold from 99.08 metres downhole in hole PONT093 at its 100% owned Pontio Gold Project in western-central Finland, marking the company's best intercept to date in length and grade.

The result formed part of nine newly reported holes from the 5,009-metre, 28-hole Phase 1 diamond drilling program targeting the southern S1 and S2 sectors of the M2 Trend. Hole PONT093 included a higher-grade interval of 5.19 metres at 14.01 g/t gold from 137.90 metres, featuring three contiguous samples exceeding 10 g/t gold and confirming visible gold.

Additional results from the S1 sector included hole PONT087 with 48.89 metres at 0.68 g/t gold from 24.70 metres, while hole PONT085 returned 51.95 metres at 0.55 g/t gold and 35.08 metres at 0.59 g/t gold. Hole PONT086 returned 45.31 metres at 0.56 g/t gold. In the south, hole PONT091 intersected 14.73 metres at 0.86 g/t gold from 86.43 metres downhole, bridging a 600-metre gap between the S1 and S2 sectors and supporting potential mineralization continuity.

Overall drilling has expanded the estimated true width of the S1 mineralized diorite porphyry beyond 140 metres on certain profiles. The deposit remains open at depth, with average drill depths under 100 metres along a 4-kilometre strike length.

“We are delighted with this next set of results, from the southern Sectors of the M2 Trend at Pontio. PONT093 returned our best ever intersection in terms of length and grade, including a section of much higher grade mineralisation at grades rarely observed to date at Pontio. These results not only can lift the average grade, but have also substantially increased the thickness of the mineralised porphyry body in the S1 Sector. While we still have a few drill results remaining to report from our H1 2026 program, we also now look forward to the H2 program, starting later in August, which will include further testing in the newly recognised area of the known higher grades as well as continuing to tighten the infill drilling in advance of a maiden Resource Estimate anticipated in early 2027.”

Gemdale plans to launch its H2 drill program at Pontio in late August 2026 to continue infill drilling ahead of a maiden Mineral Resource Estimate anticipated in early 2027. Gemdale shares were trading at $1.85, up 10.12%, on August 10, 2026.
