Genesis Resources returned high-grade gold assays from reconnaissance rock chip sampling at the Arltunga exploration tenement in the southern Northern Territory, headed by a peak sample of 28.8 g/t Au.

Genesis holds a 100% ownership interest in the Arltunga exploration tenement, designated as EL 25238, located approximately 110 kilometres east-north-east of Alice Springs. Field teams collected 53 rock chip samples across previously undrilled areas of the Arltunga tenement during June. A separate sampling run at the nearby Alice Springs tenement, EL 24817, yielded only 10 samples due to the arrival of unseasonal rain.

Assays processed by the Intertek Laboratory in Adelaide using 25-gram fire assay and multi-element ICP analysis outlined multiple gold zones exceeding 10 g/t Au across several prospects. The top result of 28.8 g/t Au was returned from previously unnamed workings at the WP-10 prospect, which also featured four-metre-deep trenches and rock chip values reaching 11.25 g/t Au and 10.46 g/t Au. Additional high-grade sampling returned up to 13.7 g/t Au at Star Creek, where previous exploration includes a ten-metre-deep shaft and a series of trenches, while sampling at Chinaman's Workings yielded gold values up to 3.7 g/t Au across multiple trenches.

Sampling at the historical Jenkins Mine returned lower grades up to 0.88 g/t Au in the recent programme. Geological surveys document historical head grades averaging 34.7 g/t Au during past mining operations at the site. The broader Arltunga goldfield forms part of the Alice Springs-Arltunga Nappe complex, where mineralisation is hosted within basement rocks and the overlying Heavitree Quartzite across the Cadney, Hillsoak Bore, and Cavanagh metamorphic packages.

Genesis previously completed a first-pass scout reverse circulation drilling programme at Arltunga consisting of nine holes for 898 metres across the Round Hill and Wipeout prospects. Building on the latest sampling data, the company plans follow-up drilling at the WP-10 prospect and other nearby targets defined by old workings and rock chip sampling results exceeding 5 g/t Au.
