Getty Copper Inc. has defined seven new exploration targets across the Getty Project in British Columbia’s Highland Valley district, expanding its exploration pipeline beyond the Getty North and Getty South resource deposits.

The new targets include Getty West, Dike Swarm, Bark & Bite, Woods Creek, North Glossie, and Lux, spanning an enlarged land position that includes a newly applied-for 1,805-hectare mineral claim. The company holds a nearly 25,000-hectare land package at the project. Many of the newly identified sites are considered drill-ready and are slated for testing during a planned 4,000 to 6,000-metre fall drilling program due to commence in October.

The upcoming campaign follows a spring drilling program that completed 10,807 metres across 28 holes. Assay results from that program remain pending for three holes at Getty North and 13 holes at Getty South. Permitting and drill targeting are also under evaluation for the company’s nearby Dot Property.
