Getty Copper Intersects 150m at 0.71% Cu at Getty South
Getty Copper Inc. has returned assay results from four additional holes drilled at the Getty South target within its Getty Project in British Columbia, highlighted by hole GS26-06 intersecting 150.3 metres grading 0.71% copper and 0.7 g/t silver from 101.7 metres depth.
The interval in hole GS26-06 includes a 103.3-metre subsection grading 0.94% copper from 101.7 metres, which further encloses a 46-metre section grading 1.47% copper from 159 metres and a 7.5-metre core interval grading 3.72% copper from 165 metres. Hole GS26-05 returned 80 metres grading 0.84% copper and 0.5 g/t silver from 60 metres depth, including 45.2 metres grading 1.28% copper from 68.8 metres. Additional drilling from holes GS26-03 and GS26-04 returned narrower intercepts, including 62 metres grading 0.44% copper from 120 metres in hole GS26-04.
Drilled widths represent downhole intervals, with true widths estimated at 30% to 60% of the intercepted lengths. The mineralized zone trends north-northwest to south-southeast across a width of 40 to 60 metres, remaining open in both directions and at depth beneath current drilling. Mineralization occurs as coarse-grained chalcopyrite and minor bornite hosted within veins and hydrothermal breccia cement inside a broader low chargeability geophysical anomaly spanning roughly 500 metres.

The Getty South target saw underground mining during the 1950s followed by intermittent drilling campaigns lasting into the late 1990s. Getty Copper undertook relogging programs across 2025 and 2026 to establish a modern testable mineralization model for the area.
“The copper grades in these holes at Getty South are multiples higher than those of reported resources in the Highland Valley district. The grades and widths have surprised us, and the continuity in these relatively closely spaced step-outs is positive. Geologically, this porphyry related high-grade breccia mineralization appears to be unique in the district.”
“Based on these results, we are accelerating our follow-up program to start in late September. The program will commence with two rigs initially at Getty South to define the size and continuity of the high-grade mineralization, as well as testing exploration targets.” — Ryan O'Regan, Chief Executive Officer
The upcoming fall drilling program will total between 4,000 and 6,000 metres utilizing two diamond drills, supported by cost efficiencies achieved during earlier exploration work. Assay results remain pending for seven additional drill holes at Getty South and three holes at the Getty North deposit, with Getty Copper working toward an initial mineral resource estimate covering both targets in 2027.
