Getty Copper Hits 194m at 0.62% Copper at Getty North
Getty Copper returned assay results from nine drill holes at the Getty North deposit within its 82% owned Getty Project in British Columbia's Highland Valley District, highlighted by hole GN26-11 intersecting 194 metres grading 0.62% copper and 0.9 g/t silver from a depth of 27 metres.
The intersection included a 69-metre higher-grade subsection grading 0.90% copper and 1.3 g/t silver from 30 metres. The latest batch from the 2026 spring program also included resource confirmation drilling at section C-C', where hole GN26-08 returned 324 metres at 0.50% copper and 0.8 g/t silver from 33 metres, including 57 metres at 0.80% copper.
The spring program totalled 10,807 metres across 28 holes, comprising 15 holes at Getty North and 13 holes at Getty South. Expansion drilling extended mineralization at Getty North by 60 metres to over 230 metres beyond historical holes across three cross sections. Lower-cost drilling than budgeted allowed the company to expand meterage within its existing allocation.
Assay results remain pending for three drill holes at Getty North and 13 drill holes at Getty South. Getty plans to commence its fall drill program in October 2026, targeting up to an additional 5,000 metres of drilling.
"This second batch of results from our 2026 spring drilling program is validating the thesis we set out at the beginning of the year: confirm the historical resource, demonstrate the potential to grow it, and materially advance our understanding of the geology across the Getty mineral claims. At Getty North, we are seeing strong consistency with the historical results, compelling near-surface grades and mineralization extending well beyond previous drilling. Just as importantly, every hole is adding to our understanding of the system and helping us build a stronger geological foundation for the next phase of drilling."
