Gladiator Metals Corp. intersected high-grade copper, gold and silver at the Cub East target within the Whitehorse Copper Project in Canada’s Yukon Territory, highlighted by drill hole BCG-045 returning 21.2 metres grading 3.07% copper, 1.19 g/t gold and 24.65 g/t silver from 183.0 metres downhole.

The latest assay batch includes drill hole BCG-050, which intersected 47.0 metres at 1.01% copper, 0.44 g/t gold and 7.07 g/t silver from 200.0 metres, including a higher-grade interval of 32.31 metres grading 1.40% copper, 0.63 g/t gold and 9.70 g/t silver from 202.69 metres.

The company expanded its planned drilling program across the Whitehorse Copper Project to more than 50,000 metres. A total of 23,000 metres has been completed to date, with five drill rigs scheduled to operate in the fourth quarter. Two diamond rigs are active at Cub East targeting extensions along the 1.5-kilometre Black Cub trend, supported by geophysical modeling. First-pass exploration drilling positioned over 600 metres southeast of Cub East encountered additional mineralized skarn, with assays pending for holes BCG-052, BCG-054 and BCG-056.

In addition to diamond drilling, a reverse-circulation drill rig is scheduled to start operating on the Black Cub Trend in late September 2026. Assay results are also pending for drill holes BCG-057 and BCG-058 at Cub East. Elsewhere in the Yukon district, Blue Jay Gold Corp. reported initial assay results from its Steller project in September 2026, including hole SC26-003 intersecting 14.00 metres grading 6.15 g/t gold and 124 g/t silver from 495.00 metres.

The Whitehorse Copper Project covers a 35-kilometre-long belt containing over 30 copper-related skarn occurrences. Past production between 1967 and 1982 totaled 267.5 million pounds of copper from 10.5 million tons milled primarily at the Little Chief deposit. Gladiator notes that reported drill intersections represent interval widths rather than true widths due to the complex geometry of the mineralized skarn system.
