Global Lithium Resources has secured its Native Vegetation Clearing Permit and received technical support for its groundwater licence for the Manna Lithium Project in Western Australia, completing the primary State approvals needed to begin early works.

The Native Vegetation Clearing Permit, designated Purpose Permit CPS 11464/1, authorises the clearing of up to 875 hectares across Mining Lease 28/414 and Miscellaneous Licences 28/86, 28/97 and 28/98 for a five-year term running to 19 August 2031. The permit took effect after passing its statutory appeal period without receiving any challenges.

In parallel, the Department of Water and Environmental Regulation confirmed technical support for the grant of the Manna Groundwater Licence. The supported entitlement covers the full water requirements of the current operating plan while retaining additional groundwater capacity for future project expansion.

The approvals follow the Mining Development and Closure Proposal approved on 4 August 2026. Global Lithium holds a 100% interest in the project, located 110km east of Kalgoorlie, which serves as the company's flagship asset.

The remaining Works Approval is well progressed and expected before the end of the September 2026 quarter. The company executed a binding term sheet with Jiangsu Lopal Tech. Group Co., Ltd in April 2026 for a A$7.32 million equity placement and a US$75 million offtake prepayment to accelerate development.

The permit approvals align with internal timelines to support a Final Investment Decision targeted for the December Quarter 2026. This schedule maintains a fast-tracked path toward first direct shipping ore in the second quarter of 2027, followed by initial SC5.5 spodumene concentrate production in mid-2027.
