Globex Reports Shallow High-Grade Gold Drill Intersections at Duquesne West
Globex Mining Enterprises Inc. has reported shallow high-grade gold drill intersections from the Duquesne West project in Quebec, highlighted by hole DQ26-52 returning 24.1 metres grading 2.6 g/t gold from a vertical depth of 35 metres, including 7.1 metres at 7.5 g/t gold.
The Duquesne West project is held under an option agreement from Duparquet Assets Ltd., a 50% owned subsidiary of Globex Mining Enterprises Inc., with Emperor Metals Inc. acting as the project operator.
The ongoing 2026 exploration campaign includes 20,479 metres of new drilling alongside approximately 7,884 metres of previously unsampled historical core, generating more than 28,000 metres of combined drilling data. The current scope expanded from 15,000 metres of new drilling outlined in February 2026. Assay results have now been received for 42 of the 66 completed drill holes, representing 61% of the program.
A second hole from the recent batch, DQ26-53, returned 14.3 metres grading 2.2 g/t gold from a vertical depth of 39 metres, including 4.0 metres at 7.4 g/t gold. The data continue to refine the geological model, demonstrating increased mineralized thickness while maintaining comparable grades to earlier intercepts. This geometry points to localized structural thickening and supports the interpretation that additional ounces remain within the existing footprint.

The systematic infill drilling is intended to support the conversion of portions of the current Inferred Mineral Resource into the Indicated category during a future NI 43-101 Mineral Resource Estimate update. Emperor Metals is advancing toward both an updated resource estimate and a future Preliminary Economic Assessment for the Duquesne West project.
