Globex Mining Enterprises Inc. has commenced a 4,800-metre drill program using two drill rigs at its 100% owned Wood/Central Cadillac gold property in Quebec.

The program consists of 11 drill holes targeting historic gold mineralization in the Wood and Central Cadillac zones situated approximately 300 metres below the surface, proximal to the Larder Lake-Cadillac Shear Zone. The drilling will investigate historical intersections, including 6.87 g/t gold over 28.0 metres in hole W05-09 and 30.96 g/t gold over 4.15 metres in W05-12.

The property hosts the historic Central Cadillac and Wood mines, which produced intermittently between 1937 and 1949. Those past-producing mines contain historic, non-NI 43-101-compliant resources of 479,000 tonnes grading 5.3 g/t gold and 1 million tonnes grading 5.0 g/t gold, respectively. The quartz-lode gold mineralization features auriferous sulphide-bearing quartz-carbonate shear veins with frequent free milling gold and disseminated pyrite haloes.

Once drilling concludes at Wood/Central Cadillac, the rigs will relocate to the company's 100% owned Rouyn-Merger property to complete a 1,335-metre program consisting of nine drill holes. That follow-up work will test strong drill results from the 2025 program near the historic East O'Neil gold occurrence—including 3.44 g/t gold over 38.7 metres in RM-25-01 and 3.47 g/t gold over 26.4 metres in RM-25-02—as well as near-surface induced polarization anomalies identified during a recent winter geophysical survey south of the old O'Neil-Thompson Mine.

Globex has also planned a second-phase drilling program of similar meterage for the Wood/Central Cadillac property in the winter of 2027.
