Gold Springs Resource Corp. reported a net loss of $0.28 million for the six months ended June 30, 2026, narrowing slightly from a net loss of $0.30 million for the six months ended June 30, 2025, primarily due to a reduction in foreign exchange losses.

For the three months ended June 30, 2026, the company posted a net loss of $0.15 million, compared with $0.13 million for the same period in 2025, driven mainly by share-based payment expenses recorded during the recent quarter versus share-based payment recoveries in the prior-year period.

General and administrative expenses, excluding non-cash share-based payments, held nearly flat at $0.26 million for the six-month period, compared with $0.27 million a year earlier. For the second quarter, general and administrative expenses edged up to $0.14 million from $0.13 million. Exploration spending for the six months ended June 30, 2026, decreased to $0.018 million from $0.025 million in the first half of 2025. As of June 30, 2026, the company held cash of $0.01 million.

Alongside its financial disclosures, Gold Springs Resource Corp. provided an update on its flagship Gold Springs project, located across the Nevada and Utah border in the Great Basin. The company engaged Anderson Psomas of Utah to advance engineering and permitting for a proposed starter pit situated on Utah State land, alongside associated heap-leach processing facilities to be constructed on private land. Locating the processing facilities on private land and the starter pit on state land is expected to significantly streamline the permitting process for initial operations compared with a conventional federal permitting pathway.

Meanwhile, broader market conditions show gold priced at $4,423.50 per ounce, representing an 8.97% increase over the 30-day period ended August 12, 2026.
