Gold X2 Mining Inc. has intersected 40.4 metres grading 2.05 g/t gold from 343.6 metres in hole MSD-26-404 during phase one drilling at the Span Prospect, located approximately two kilometres northeast of the Moss Gold Deposit in Northwest Ontario, Canada.

The 11-hole, 4,581-metre campaign tested the prospect to evaluate near-surface ounces and explore for northeast offset extensions. Hole MSD-26-404 included a higher-grade interval of 24.05 metres at 3.17 g/t gold from 345.95 metres. Drilling also identified a parallel shear hosted in a narrow diorite intrusion, returning 5.0 metres at 5.34 g/t gold from 161.0 metres in hole MSD-26-397, including a 2.0-metre section grading 12.7 g/t gold. Three additional holes targeting the existing prospect confirmed historical results from the 1980s.

The Moss Gold Project hosts an updated 2026 mineral resource estimate of 2.458 million ounces of indicated gold at 1.04 g/t and 4.209 million ounces of inferred gold at 0.97 g/t. The Span Prospect was previously drilled by Inco in the late 1980s and Wesdome Gold Mines in 2017.

To support ongoing work, Gold X2 is mobilizing a third drill contractor to site to avoid diverting resources from primary Moss expansion and infill drilling programs. An additional drill rig is scheduled to arrive this week to extend mineralization toward the surface and to the east-northeast, while a mineral resource estimate update for the Moss Gold Project is scheduled for Q4 2026 or Q1 2027.
