GoldArc Resources Reports Strongest Grade Control Results at Mt Stirling Well
GoldArc Resources (ASX: GA8) has released the latest assay results from its ongoing grade control program at the Leonora North – Mt Stirling project. The company reported its strongest results to date from the Mt Stirling Well deposit, alongside the eighth batch of data from the adjacent Mt Stirling deposit. These findings provide essential geological detail as the company refines its models in preparation for development.
At Mt Stirling Well, recent reverse circulation drilling intercepted high-grade gold zones, including 4m at 9.24g/t Au and 2m at 15.5g/t Au. These intercepts are significant, as they align with the deposit’s known resource grade and confirm the presence of high-grade shoots within the granitoid host rock. This drilling is designed to provide systematic coverage across the deposit to ensure operational accuracy during mining.

The current work forms part of a 34,000-meter combined grade control program, which is now approximately 70% complete. While drilling at Mt Stirling Well continues to define high-grade zones, the focus at the main Mt Stirling deposit has shifted toward defining ore boundaries at the eastern and western margins. These final-phase results are being integrated into updated mining models to support the forthcoming Mining Development and Closure Proposal, or MDCP.
GoldArc manages the Leonora North hub, which integrates both the Mt Stirling and Mt Stirling Well deposits. The exploration and grade control program is supported by a 50/50 net profit share arrangement with BML Ventures Pty Ltd. The project remains on a development path, with the company progressing through the necessary regulatory steps to formalise its mine planning.
The next major catalyst for the project involves the completion of the final phase of the 34,000-meter grade control program across both deposits. Following this, the primary focus will be obtaining formal approval for the MDCP. Once secured, this approval will provide the regulatory foundation required to transition the Leonora North hub from an advanced exploration and planning stage toward active mine development. The company continues to work closely with its partner to finalise the operational parameters required for the MDCP submission.
