GoldArc Resources Limited has intersected blind, previously untested gold mineralisation during a second-round reverse circulation drilling program at the Whistler prospect, part of the Leonora South Gold Project in Western Australia.

The ten-hole program, totalling 894 metres, followed up shallow gold anomalies from the company's first-round aircore drilling. Drilling confirmed a blind vein system at depth within Zone 2, returning significant intercepts without prior surface expression or historical drill testing.

Hole NIC121 intersected three separate veins, returning 2 metres at 4.12 g/t gold from 70 metres, alongside a 2-metre interval at 0.80 g/t gold from 75 metres and 1 metre at 2.27 g/t gold from 82 metres. The mineralisation is hosted within strongly fractionated tonalite alongside moderate chlorite alteration, pyrite, and minor quartz veining.

Hole NIC120 returned a further three veins, including 2 metres at 2.66 g/t gold from 63 metres, 1 metre at 0.5 g/t gold from 67 metres, and 2 metres at 1.61 g/t gold from 70 metres. Hole NIC120 also yielded 1 metre at 324 ppm tungsten from 63 metres. Silver, arsenic, bismuth, cerium, and tungsten pathfinders accompanied the gold, with holes NIC120 and NIC121 displaying the strongest europium enrichment.

Within Zone 3, hole NIC116 tested beneath earlier drilling and intersected 1 metre at 1.17 g/t gold from 31 metres and 1 metre at 0.77 g/t gold from 34 metres, pointing to an east-dipping mineralised structure. However, holes NIC117 through NIC119 and NIC124 did not return significant gold anomalism, while holes NIC123 and NIC125 were terminated short of target depths due to bogging in swelling clays.

Nearby exploration activity across the district continues to yield results, with Augustus Minerals reporting eight metres at 3.27 g/t gold from 72 metres at its Music Well project in August 2026.
