Golden Arrow Shareholders Approve US$25 Million Sale Of San Pietro Copper Assets

Golden Arrow Resources Corporation has secured shareholder approval for the sale of the copper assets at the San Pietro Copper-Gold-Iron Cobalt project to Capstone Copper Corp.
At the annual general and special meeting held on August 21, 2026, shareholders voted overwhelmingly in favour of the transaction, casting 86,896,631 votes for the special resolution, representing 98.77% of the votes cast.
The transaction, initially announced on June 23, 2026, involves an aggregate consideration of US$25 million payable in Capstone shares. The assets being acquired comprise 73 concessions previously held by New Golden Exploration Chile SpA, a joint venture indirectly owned 75.019% by Golden Arrow and 24.981% by Sociedad de Servicios Andinos SpA.
The deal is expected to close in the third quarter of 2026, subject to customary closing conditions.

Golden Arrow intends to direct its focus toward expanding exploration at its Atakama gold project and advancing key properties in Argentina following the completion of the divestment.
Meanwhile, Capstone Copper Corp. reported record second-quarter 2026 financial and production results at its Mantoverde copper project within the surrounding district.
