Golden Cariboo Intercepts 268.24m at 0.58 g/t Gold to Complete Resource Database
Golden Cariboo Resources Ltd. received photon assay results for diamond drill hole QGQ26-30, which targeted the western margin of the Halo zone at its flagship Quesnelle Gold Quartz Mine property in central British Columbia.
Drill hole QGQ26-30 returned 268.24 metres grading 0.58 g/t gold from a depth of 28.26 metres to 296.50 metres. The intercept includes a 57.36-metre section grading 1.08 g/t gold starting from 28.26 metres, and a 30.62-metre section grading 1.16 g/t gold from 140.03 metres. Within the second broader zone, a higher-grade interval yielded 3.12 metres grading 5.30 g/t gold from 167.53 metres. The reported interval widths currently have insufficient data to reliably estimate true width.

The mineralization in QGQ26-30 is associated with broad zones of strong sericite-carbonate alteration developed within tuffaceous volcanic rocks. Gold typically occurs within and adjacent to extensional quartz-carbonate veins. The mineralized system is characterized by pervasive, finely disseminated to cubic pyrite, minor chalcopyrite, rare pyrrhotite, and localized zones of semi-massive to massive sulphides. Visible gold was identified across multiple intervals throughout the hole as fine to coarse irregular flecks, generally less than 1 mm but locally reaching 3 mm in size, commonly occurring along vein margins and closely associated with disseminated to cubic pyrite. These geological features remain consistent with observations elsewhere within the Halo zone, which stays open in all directions.
Golden Cariboo characterizes the Quesnelle Gold Quartz Mine property as its flagship asset, covering an area of 94,899 hectares along a 90-kilometre trend in central British Columbia.
The receipt of the QGQ26-30 results completes the drill hole assay database that will be incorporated into the company's inaugural Mineral Resource Estimate, which is currently being finalized. This milestone provides a foundation for continued project advancement.
The stock is currently trading at $0.10, up 11.11%.
