Golden Globe Resources Ltd has returned high-grade copper assays up to 4.22% copper and 0.472 parts per million gold from reconnaissance rock chip sampling at the historic Burns Spur copper mine area within the Ridler Creek tenement in Queensland.

The sampling program forms part of ongoing exploration across the company’s flagship Dooloo Creek project, which has been advancing following its ASX listing in October 2025. Exploration at the project benefits from approximately 9,100 metres of historical drilling across 57 previous drill holes completed prior to Golden Globe Resources’ recent campaigns.

A review of historical exploration reports also highlighted a broad intersection from a 1970 percussion hole completed by Noranda at Burns Spur, which intersected 60 metres at 0.16% copper from surface in hole DH3a. Hole DH4 recorded approximately 40 metres at 0.14% copper from 55 metres down hole within an extensive zone of hydrothermally altered and brecciated syenite.

Golden Globe Resources is carrying out reconnaissance field mapping and rock chip sampling at the Burns Spur area within the Ridler Creek tenement of the Dooloo Creek Project. Concurrently, the team is undertaking Phase 2 diamond drilling targeting deeper extensions of the mineralised system at Eastern Breccia and follow-up drilling at Northern Gold.

Elsewhere in the surrounding district, Cannindah Resources Limited reported high-grade copper equivalent drill results from the Southern Shoot at its Mt Cannindah project in June 2026, including 26 metres at 1.29% copper equivalent from 192 metres.
