Golden Horse Intersects 16.6m at 3.4 g/t Gold at Hopes Hill

Golden Horse Minerals Limited has intersected high-grade gold mineralisation at the Hopes Hill deposit within its Southern Cross Gold Project in Western Australia, returning 16.6m at 3.4 g/t gold from 392.4m in diamond hole 26HHDD031, including a 5.0m interval grading 9.9 g/t gold from 399.0m.
The hole targeted an emerging high-grade zone beneath the northern end of the historic Hopes Hill pit, located approximately 290m vertically below the surface. The intercept sits approximately 80m up-dip from hole 26HHRCD077 and forms part of a broader cluster of significant intersections within a 200m by 200m area beneath the pit.
Additional results from the Hopes Hill system include hole 26HHRC162, which returned 21m at 1.5 g/t gold from 215m with a higher-grade core of 13m at 2.1 g/t gold from 221m, extending the southernmost plunging shoot. Meanwhile, single-metre split sampling on hole 26HHRC147 returned 10m at 11.3 g/t gold from 116m, including 2m at 52.3 g/t gold from 124m.
At the nearby Greenmount prospect, final assays from the extension of hole 26GMRC009 returned 7m at 4.8 g/t gold from 139m and 2m at 3.1 g/t gold from 149m.
“Following a busy first half to 2026, where we drilled over 50km of reverse circulation and diamond drill holes in the Southern Cross Greenstone Belt at several prospects, we've spent the first few weeks of the second half of 2026 focusing on Hopes Hill, with two diamond rigs and an RC rig actively drilling at depth and along strike.” — Nicholas Anderson, Managing Director
“Most impressively, 26HHDD031 returned 16.6m @ 3.4 g/t Au in a developing area we believe is well- mineralised, with recent results within a 200m radius of 26HHDD031's intercept also including 26HHRCD077 (24.2m @ 2.2 g/t Au from 378.8m), 26HHRCD078 (8.8m @ 4.8 g/t Au from 356.2m) and 26HHDD009 (13.6m @ 3.0 g/t Au from 308.4m) to name a few favourites first past the post.” — Nicholas Anderson, Managing Director
Golden Horse holds an 1,800km² position on the Frasers Shear Zone at the Southern Cross project, where combined reverse circulation and diamond drilling has exceeded 50,000 metres this year.
Two diamond rigs and one reverse circulation rig are currently active at Hopes Hill. The accumulated drill data is intended to support an inaugural Mineral Resource Estimate for the Hopes Hill deposit, while regional aircore drilling planning continues across the company's tenure.
