Golden Sky Expands Rayfield-Gjoll With Vidette Claims
Golden Sky Minerals Corp. has agreed to acquire a 100% interest in nine mineral claims covering 385.28 hectares in south-central British Columbia, adding ground that hosts the historic Vidette Gold Mine and the Elm mineral occurrence to its flagship Rayfield-Gjoll Project.

The transaction is conditional on receiving approval from the TSX Venture Exchange and other customary closing conditions. As consideration, Golden Sky will issue 300,000 common shares to the vendor, Steven Scott. The acquired claims are also subject to a 2% net smelter return royalty. The company can purchase 1% of the royalty for C$1.0 million and the remaining 1% for C$2.0 million.
The new claim blocks consolidate land within the broader Rayfield-Gjoll package, bridging gaps between existing tenure and bringing historically fragmented mineral occurrences under single ownership. The Rayfield-Gjoll Project is held as Golden Sky’s flagship asset within the Quesnel Trough and is subject to an option and joint venture agreement with Boliden Mineral Canada Ltd., through which Boliden can earn an 80% interest by funding up to C$20 million in exploration expenditures.
The historic Vidette Gold Mine operated between 1933 and 1940, processing approximately 48,980 tonnes of ore to recover roughly 929 kilograms of gold, 1,449 kilograms of silver, and 43,825 kilograms of copper. Golden Sky views the old workings and surrounding mineralised structures as an important geological reference point for evaluating the wider gold and copper-gold potential of the area.
“Acquiring the Vidette and Elm claims is an important step in strengthening and consolidating our Rayfield-Gjoll Project. The historic Vidette Gold Mine confirms the presence of high-grade gold mineralization within the broader property, while the Gnome copper in soil anomaly extends to the boundary of the newly acquired ground. Bringing these strategically located claims under one ownership allows us to evaluate these mineralized systems as part of a much larger geological picture. We believe the combination of historic gold production, multiple mineral occurrences and compelling copper gold porphyry targets significantly expand the exploration potential of Rayfield-Gjoll.”
