Goldgroup Mining Inc. has highlighted an expanded 34,250-metre diamond drilling program and ongoing plant enhancements at the Don David Gold Complex in Oaxaca, Mexico, advancing from its previously reported total of 25,726 metres completed across 123 holes through July 31, 2026.

The active drill campaign spans the district’s two producing underground operations, the Arista and Alta Gracia mines. The company acquired the Don David Gold Mine through its business combination with Gold Resource Corporation, which closed on July 17, 2026. Following that transaction, the company reported a pro forma cash balance of US$59 million with zero debt. Goldgroup's broader portfolio includes four 100%-owned assets across Mexico and the United States, comprising the producing Don David and Cerro Prieto mines, the San Francisco project, and the Back Forty project.

Recent processing modifications at the El Aguila facility include the refurbishment of four Knelson centrifugal gravity concentrators and a third ball mill, which has lifted nominal milling capacity by 200 tonnes per day. Goldgroup projects the commissioning of a third tailings filter press in early Q4 2026 to add operational flexibility.

“Don David is much more than a single producing mine. It is a large, established mining complex with two producing underground mines, extensive underground infrastructure, a fully operational processing facility and multiple mineralized vein systems that continue to demonstrate significant upside.

“The progress at Three Sisters is particularly important because it illustrates what we believe makes Don David so compelling. We are taking discoveries within an existing operating environment and advancing new mineralized zones into production and the mine plan. At the same time, we continue to have opportunities to expand known resources at both the Arista and Alta Gracia underground mines and test additional targets across the broader property.”
