GoldHaven Resources Corp. has commenced its maiden diamond drill program at the Magno Project in northwestern British Columbia, with the first hole underway at the historic Kuhn tungsten target.

The 37,000-hectare property is GoldHaven’s flagship asset, encompassing a district-scale land package prospective for tungsten, silver, lead, zinc, copper and other critical metals. Before initiating the drill campaign, the company completed a 2,320.7 line-kilometre high-resolution airborne magnetic survey across the property to establish a detailed structural framework for targeting.

Drilling at Kuhn marks a transition from surface exploration to subsurface testing across the polymetallic system. Historical exploration at the target outlined past intercepts that include 13.0 metres grading 0.55% WO₃, 11.3 metres grading 0.59% WO₃ with 0.10% MoS₂, and 4.0 metres grading 1.32% WO₃ with 0.26% MoS₂. Past work across the Kuhn and Dead Goat areas also generated a historical estimate of approximately 616,500 tonnes grading 0.48% WO₃ across four modelled lenses.

This historical estimate is not classified as a current mineral resource or reserve under National Instrument 43-101 standards, and GoldHaven is not treating it as current. The current drill program is designed in part to test and verify the historically reported mineralization while gathering modern structural and geochemical data.

“Commencing drilling at Magno is an important milestone for GoldHaven. We are starting at Kuhn, where compelling historical tungsten intercepts provide us with a strong foundation for our first drill program and an opportunity to evaluate the system using modern exploration techniques. With tungsten becoming increasingly important to secure critical-mineral supply chains, we believe Kuhn is a timely and exciting place to begin. Importantly, it represents just one target within the much larger polymetallic system we are exploring across Magno.”

Following completion of work at Kuhn, GoldHaven’s inaugural 5,000 to 7,000-metre diamond drill program will evaluate additional priority targets across the wider project area.
